All that I Am
Dear God, please allow me to use the blessings that You have bestowed upon me to see the goodness that surrounds me. May I use my ears to hear the words of peace and love that are spoken daily. May I use my eyes to see the work that others do to bring about justice and peace. May I use my mind to think positively of the world that You have lovingly created for me. May I use my hands to reach for those less fortunate. May I use my feet to travel on the path that You have laid before me. Finally, please allow me to use my heart to experience and share the love that only You allow. I ask this in Your name. Amen.
Family Peace
You know my most intimate thoughts and needs, O God. Allow me to be faithful to the relationships that I have built and committed to on this Earth. Prevent me from allowing boredom, immaturity and financial woes to separate me from the people that You have placed in my life on my journey to You. Teach me to respect the commitments that I have made, the challenges that You have laid before me and the opportunities that I share. Provide peace in my family and allow me to live my life as a testament to the love that I have for You.
Life with God
Hello God, Friend and Protector. If today is the last that I will spend here on Earth, allow me to live it in peace. Provide the wisdom to leave all worry up to You. Keep me from wasting a moment on things that I cannot control. Place Your emphasis on the people that I love and those that love me. Shield me from thinking negative thoughts or fearing what I do not understand. Stay close to me and allow me to love You as never before. Understand the gratitude that I have for the wonderful gift of life and regardless of when that gift ends, know that in You, I have lived.
